About

For as long as I can remember I have had a heart for helping others. That passion drove my studies in college, obtaining my degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University and then my graduate degree in counselling from the University of Houston. I am licensed in the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and am a Certified Anger Resolution Therapist (CART).

My practice welcomes individuals, couples, teens and children. I have worked with a wide variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, marital conflict, life stage adjustments/transitions, in addition to the treatment of ADD/HD symptoms and other school challenges (pre-school through college age). Additional areas of intervention includes work with individuals who are dealing with stress and time management problems, difficulties as a result of parental divorce, behavior management problems and other life challenges.

My role as your therapist is to create a safe, supportive and collaborative environment to empower you to achieve your personal goals. Each person will receive a personalized approach that is tailored to their individual needs. I use a variety of treatment modalities customized to each client's specific needs and desires.
